Write about a conversation that changed you.

Prompt Response: A conversation that changed me wasn't nessesarily one I experienced myself, but overheard. It was from one of my friends parents in middle school, and it stuck with me since. That no matter how old, young, girl or boy, that you have a right to have a voice. That the idelology of someone being right because their an adult, or older than you, doesn't give them the authority to be disrespectful. I think that really changed me because I grew up with those exact words being told to me, but also being told to stand up for myself and my feelings no matter what or who it was. The two seemed to contradict each other all the time, so hearing that really set things into perspective for younger me and now.

Summary: Today in class we took our annotated poem we got Monday and answered questions.

Reflection: The most that I learned today was how to look and interpret a poem. Answering the questions allowed me to realize that going thought and putting notes, trying to actually understand what i'm reading, turns out very beneficial to my overall knowledge of my readings.
